PMMY supports eligible income-generating micro enterprises through participating banks, NBFCs and other institutions. It is a financing framework, not an automatic subsidy or guaranteed approval.

Prepare first
1. Define the activity, amount, asset or working-capital need and promoter contribution.
2. Prepare KYC, business proof, quotations, bank statements, registrations, existing-loan details and realistic cash-flow estimates.
3. Select the appropriate current PMMY product category based on the funding requirement and scheme rules.

Application steps
1. Check current PMMY terms on the official MUDRA site and identify a participating lender.
2. Obtain the lender form or use its authorised digital channel.
3. Submit the business plan, purpose, cost, contribution and repayment estimate with supporting records.
4. Permit credit and verification checks and respond to lender queries.
5. Review the sanction letter, interest rate, fees, security or guarantee terms, insurance and repayment schedule.
6. Use disbursed funds only for the sanctioned business purpose and keep invoices and utilisation evidence.

Approval remains subject to lender appraisal. Do not treat the category ceiling as an entitlement to that amount.
